Who is Deneka Printing Systems?
Deneka Printing systems was founded by P. Kenneth Deneka in 1994. The company was first started under the name Quad Tech and soon after changed to Deneka Printing Systems Inc.
Upon graduating from college, Mr. Deneka worked several years for Union Carbide Plastics Company as a chemist synthesizing various aromatic polyester resins. During this time he discovered a dislike for test tubes and beakers and transferred from Research to Development. Here began a life long attraction to heavy processing equipment, including sheet and film extrusion, coating/laminating, and printing. With assignments over the years with Tenneco Plastics, Pitney Bowes, Mattel, Standard Packaging/Saxon Industries, Mr. Deneka held senior engineering, manufacturing management, and general management positions in business units focused on converting processes and products. Nearly all processes and products required very tight process/product specifications and controls for products, used in the optical, electrical, and aerospace industries. During these years he continuously encountered problems in maintaining coating performance within the necessary tight specifications. In response to this mounting frustration, he began development of the first advanced chamber design, and in 1994 commercialized the product today know as the InkJector and received two United States Patents.
Today DPS has full in-house machining and manufacturing as well as spares and service support at its Cream Ridge, New Jersey facility, which is located about 45 minutes northeast of Philadelphia, in the southern part of New Jersey.
